About The Creation Station Team 

 

Angelika Smit opened The Creation Station in 2018. Why? Because she looooooves getting creative with crafts! But most of all, she believes everybody can create something beautiful: it will be a great experience and your confidence will grow!

 

After working as a high school teacher in The Netherlands for four years, she moved to Canada where she continued teaching, but this time at the Elementary level. At first, Angelika was a bit nervous about teaching younger children, but she quickly fell in love with the creativity kids bring to the classroom. After her daughter was born in 2008, Angelika’s own creative side came to life! She started gluing, nailing and sewing everything she could get her hands on; crafts became her passion. A few years later, she launched The Creation Station and couldn’t be more excited about it.
